so i cut hair at a salon and so does my friend, i bought a WAHL clipper and trimmer from a professional hair cutting supply store for about 80 bucks. Now my friend bought his from target also by WAHL but not the same ones for about 30 bucks, they seem to work the same but whats the main difference between a professional and a home use clipper and trimmer

I don’t think anything is different. except there are replacement blades for the more expensive ones. Which is why pros buy that one since they use it every day all day. they need a sharp blade at all times. but for personal use the 30 $ one should be fine, and will last many years
