I’m looking for a good shampoo that will make my hair more voluminous and thicken the hairs that are in my head already. I’m not looking for any shampoos that contain hair-loss inhibiting or hair regrowth drugs… just something that will make the hair thicker and stronger.

Anyone have suggestions?
Thanks for the tips, Miissa. However, everything I’ve seen says that henna will also color your hair. I don’t want this.

I have bald spots on my head. I think it’s because my roots are weak from a lot of scratching that I did cause my scalp is dry and itchy. My doctor prescribed me a foam that helps stop all the itchiness but now I’m left with bald spots. I have really thin hair. Anyone here knows of a good shampoo or treatment that helps hair grow back.

Rogaine seems to be the best over the counter treatment available. I have not personally used it myself, but I know people that swear by it. They make men and womens formulas.

I used to wet my hair everyday but my parents say you should only wet your hair when you’re going to shampoo your hair. Is that true? I’ve always thought that washing your hair simply with water is different than washing it with shampoo? So now I just wet my hair once in two days and only when I’m going to shampoo my hair.

Is the hair shedding or breaking? Look for a little white bulb. If there is it’s shedding. You need to see your doctor. Shedding can be a sign of a thyroid problem, vitamin D deficiency, or anemia so.. get that checked out. In the meantime apply garlic to the scalp either mixed with your shampoo or with an oil. Apply every other day.

If it’s breaking let me know because I honestly don’t feel like doing a bunch of typing and your hair not have breakage.. so, yeah. Just e-mail me and I’ll need more details like your daily routine to pinpoint the problem of breakage. Breakage is something that is done externally.
